Las autoridades del Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI) oficializaron los 254 despidos efectuados a finales del mes de enero, bajo el amparo de un gobierno nacional que se excusa en la ineficacia de los trabajadores designados en el gobierno anterior. En el día de ayer se llevó a cabo una feria de ciencias abierta al público para visibilizar la importancia del desarrollo tecnológico del INTI, que peligra frente al avance del ajuste en el sector público.
“En el INTI no sobra nadie” es la consigna que se pusieron al hombro científicos y académicos para defender a los 254 trabajadores despedidos de las áreas de ciencia y técnica del Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial. Según ellos mismos lo definen, el INTI es “un organismo del Estado donde trabajan profesionales de distintas disciplinas tecnológicas que miden, controlan, verifican y desarrollan diferentes cosas que hacen a nuestra vida cotidiana”. Desde las verificaciones técnicas de las balanzas de los supermercados y los surtidores de las estaciones de servicio hasta el desarrollo de alimentos aptos para celíacos, el trabajo del INTI modifica la vida de los argentinos con mano de obra argentina.

Además, el INTI realiza un valioso aporte de tecnologías a las pymes, que necesitan de ese apoyo para lograr producir más y mejor. Las autoridades del organismo argumentaron que la razón de los despidos era un “ausentismo reiterado, incumplimiento de horarios laborales y de desempeños”, pero no tardaron en hacerse públicos casos de trabajadores despedidos que cobraban todos los meses el presentismo y contaban con recomendaciones de sus superiores.
