Pasadas las 11 de la mañana del día de hoy y durante una hora, diferentes periodistas de distintos medios independientes denunciaron que mediante el servicio de internet de Fibertel, del Grupo Clarín, no se podía ingresar a sus medios, mientras que a La Nación, Clarín e Infobae se podía entrar sin problemas. El listado fue aumentando durante todo ese tiempo y si bien el conflicto parecería estar solucionado, desde la empresa no dieron respuestas. Los medios denuncian censura por parte de Fibertel.
Página/12, Cosecha Roja, Revista Anfibia, El Cohete a la Luna, Primereando, Radio AM 750, Nodal, Diario Femenino, Agencia Paco Urondo, Notas, Fm La Tribu, LaGarcía, Fm La Patriada, son los medios que durante una hora fueron comprobando que no se podía ingresar a sus sitios web mediante el servicio de internet de Fibertel. Mientras que en otros servicios de internet como Arnet, Speedy y Telecentro se podía ingresar a sus sitios sin problemas.
Teniendo en cuenta que el acceso a los servicios de internet se encuentra concentrado en pocas empresas, y en muchos lugares suelen existir el monopolio de solo una, que se den de baja este tipo de contenidos es realmente preocupante. La alarma sobre la selectividad de los sitios que se dan de baja no es algo a ignorar y la censura a la libertad de expresión puede darse de esta forma sutil. La denuncia es necesaria para señalar la falta de neutralidad de los servicios que ofrecen el acceso a internet en la actualidad.
