Agrupaciones artísticas y vecinos se visten de fiesta para mantener viva la tradición porteña en una celebración al aire libre, hasta el 25 de febrero. Con sus galeras, levitas, bombos y platillos, se celebran en distintos puntos los 34 corsos que conforman este gran festejo.
Este año, 11 de los 34 corsos llenan de música y color anfiteatros, plazas y clubes para promover la identidad de cada barrio, generando más protagonismo de los vecinos y un 9% menos de cortes de calle. El Anfiteatro del Parque Lezama en San Telmo, el Anfiteatro Piedrabuena en Villa Lugano, el Polideportivo de Colegiales y el Polideportivo 9 de Julio en Barracas son algunos de los lugares que serán sede de esta fiesta cultural.
Uno de los lugares emblemáticos será la Av San Juan y Boedo, que aloja a uno de los corsos con más trayectoria en el mundo del Carnaval. Otros puntos destacados serán: Scalabrini Ortiz y Padilla en Villa Crespo, Av Triunvirato y Monroe en Villa Urquiza, la intersección de Fernández y Directorio en Parque Avellaneda, y el cruce de Alberdi y Escalada en Mataderos. Paternal tendrá dos escenarios: celebrará en Av Álvarez Jonte y Terrero, y en la Plaza Roque Sáenz Peña de Juan B. Justo y Boyacá.
Para el cierre del Carnaval Porteño se repite la gran fiesta en Av. de Mayo con una puesta escénica imperdible, stands de gastronomía, maquillaje artístico, propuestas infantiles y el característico desfile de murgas porteñas.
