Durante este viernes el Comando Operativo de Bomberos de la Ciudad recogió una llamada alertando por un incendio con potenciales vecinos asidos en un inmueble situado en la Av. Pedro Goyena al 500.
Rápidamente asistió a las inmediaciones el personal de la Estación VII Flores y del Grupo Especial de Rescate (GER) para el socorro de los atrapados con la congregación de tanque e hidroelevadores.
Luego de arribar al lugar, los bomberos se dieron cuenta que de un mirador del sexto piso provenía el fuego y humo. Ágilmente se partieron en dos grupos: Mientras tanto un equipo extendía una línea de ataque, el otro examinaba el resto del edificio en busca de potenciales heridos.
En estas circunstancias, el equipo del GER encontró en los últimos pisos a un hombre y una mujer en estado semiconsciente. Los rescatistas los auxiliaron y así descendieron por la escalinata, colocándolos a salvo.
Por fin pudieron controlar el fuego que adquiría los dos dormitorios en forma extendida con artificio a un baño y a un pasillo. El personal de la Dirección General Defensa Civil auxilió en el operativo, como además efectivos de Policía de la Ciudad.
La consecuencia del incendio, siete individuos estuvieron asistidas por el Same y cuatro de ellas hubieron ser llevadas por inhalación de humo a los hospitales Durand, Álvarez y Ramos Mejía.
Cuando se logró extinguir el fuego, las unidades de la Dirección General Guardia de Auxilio y Emergencias de la Ciudad efectuaron una valoración del inmueble y establecieron que no existía peligro de que se desmorone la estructura.
