El vicejefe de Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Diego Santilli, visto en la mañana de ayer la recientemente remodelada Sala 32 de Pediatría del Hospital Muñiz. Entre las obras realizadas se destacan la incorporación de sanitarios para sectorizar a los pacientes y reactivar el pabellón catalogado como edificio con “Protección Cautelar”. Santilli, paseo por nuevas instalaciones del hospital ubicado en Uspallata 2272 del barrio de Parque Patricios de la comuna 4 de la ciudad, la obra de remodelación integral,  implicó la realización de trabajos en 418 m2 cubiertos, dio respuesta a dos grandes necesidades: incorporar sanitarios para sectorizar a los pacientes y reactivar el pabellón que se encuentra catalogado como edificio con “Protección Cautelar” dentro de los lineamientos del Patrimonio Cultural de la Ciudad. Santilli señaló con el jefe de Gobierno, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, estamos haciendo en estos cuatro años un proyecto de inversión muy fuerte en todo el sistema público en todos nuestros hospitales”, y agregó  “lo que acabamos de inaugurar es casi como si fuera una terapia intensiva”, lo cual “es el servicio que nosotros queremos darle a los chicos que vienen, a sus familias y a los trabajadores, a los médicos”. Santilli estuvo acompañado por la ministra de Salud de la Ciudad, Ana María Bou Pérez, y por la directora del Hospital Muñiz, Mabel Noguera,  la ministra expresó que “es muy importante” la remodelación “porque estamos aumentando la dotación de las camas pediátricas” y agregó: “Queríamos tenerlas en esta época porque, como todos sabemos, tenemos que estar atentos con las enfermedades respiratorias de los chicos”.
