Felipe Miguel, el jefe de Gabinete porteño, recorrió esta mañana el Hospital Argerich, y con el Dr. Néstor Hernández y la Dra. Laura Cordero caminó los pasillos para ver en persona los nuevos equipos para resguardar a los vecinos del avance del covid-19.
“La pandemia nos impone nuevas necesidades y urgencias, y por eso es fundamental sumar más infraestructura y refaccionar las instalaciones del hospital para dar respuesta y garantizar la salud de los vecinos”, afirmó el jefe de Gabinete porteño.
Para fortalecer nuestro sistema de salud, se puede destacar el excelente funcionamiento de las Unidades Febriles de Urgencia. En este nosocomio ya fueron atendidos 6.500 casos, los que resultaron positivos 3.500 pacientes y se aislaron a 1.300. En este sentido es fundamental, porque permite hacer foco en la atención de vecinos con coronavirus y dejar libre la guardia para urgencias y otras patologías.
“La UFU cumple un rol fundamental porque es el primer contacto con los vecinos que se acercan ante la sospecha de tener el virus. Acá se los recibe, se les hace el test y se los deriva a donde corresponda, garantizando la atención que cada vecino necesita”, punteó Felipe Miguel.
Asimismo, el GCBA sigue reconociendo el gran esfuerzo por parte del personal de salud. En este sentido, Miguel aseveró: “desde la Ciudad estamos para acompañarlos. No sólo garantizando que tengan insumos o haciendo testeos semanales, sino escuchándolos para entender a cada momento qué necesitan y darles una respuesta”.
Además, la Unidad de Terapia Intensiva del Hospital Argerich cuenta con 36 camas y estuvieron asistidos 250 vecinos. También, en la Sala de Recuperación post UTI que cuenta con médicos, kinesiólogos, fonoaudiólogos y enfermería, ya se recuperaron 50 vecinos.
