En las últimas horas personal de la Comisaría Vecinal 11 A de la Policía de la Ciudad se encontraba realizando ronda de prevención en Camarones y la avenida Nazca, en el barrio de Villa Santa Rita, y vio a dos hombres saliendo de los cajeros de esa esquina, uno de los cuales guardaba entre sus ropas un dispositivo electrónico de 5x30cm con plaquetas y una luz azul.
Ante la sospecha de que se trataba de un “pescador” de tarjetas, el efectivo los siguió y los interceptó en Camarones y Terrada, donde uno de los sospechosos logró escapar.
Al llegar otro oficial de la fuerza, el detenido, argentino de 38 años, fue revisado y se le incautó el lector de tarjetas.
Tras la consulta, el Juzgado Criminal y Correccional Nro. 43 a cargo del Dr. Carlos Bruniard, secretaría 109 de la Dra María Soledad Nieto, dispuso la detención del imputado y el secuestro del dispositivo.
