La Policía de la Ciudad detuvo en las últimas horas a un hombre de nacionalidad peruana por comercializar teléfonos celulares denunciados como robados y secuestró más de 3.500 prendas de marcas apócrifas en inspecciones realizadas en los barrios de Balvanera y Villa Riachuelo.

Los operativos fueron realizados por la División Sumarios y Brigadas de Prevención de la Comisaría Comunal 3 de la Policía de la Ciudad, la División Operaciones Especiales Requeridas por el Ministerio Público, la Agencia Gubernamental de Control (AGC) y la Dirección de Coordinación Operativa, dependiente de la Secretaría de Justicia y Seguridad de la Ciudad.

Además, colaboraron personal de Seguridad e Higiene, Normativa Laboral, Unidad Operativa de Fiscalización Integral (UOFI) y la Dirección General de Fiscalización y Control (DGFYC).

La primera inspección se hizo en una galería ubicada en la calle Bartolomé Mitre al 2600, donde los efectivos verificaron las condiciones de 19 puestos. En ellos, se constató que se vendía ropa con marcas falsificadas y en uno de los locales se ofrecían teléfonos adulterados y denunciados al Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) como robados.

Por esta razón, al encargado de ese local de telefonía, un hombre peruano de 23 años, se lo detuvo por infracción a la Ley de Comunicaciones y se le incautaron 4 celulares, 3 módulos y 12 chips.

En los demás puestos se secuestraron 3.001 prendas apócrifas y quedaron imputadas unas 19 personas de nacionalidad extranjera (12 peruanos, 5 bolivianos, un senegalés y un paraguayo) por infracción a la Ley de Marcas.

En tanto, en Montiel al 5100, en Villa Riachuelo, se llegó a un local en el que funcionaba un Showroom de indumentaria y calzado, todo de marcas falsificadas de Nike, Adidas, Vans, Kenzo, Phillip Plein, Hollister y Lacoste.

Los oficiales notificaron al responsable, un hombre de 23 años, y secuestraron 600 artículos, entre pantalones, remeras, buzos, mochilas, gorros y zapatillas, en un monto de mercado cercano a los 1.200.000 pesos.

Inspectores de la Dirección General de Control Ambiental (DGCONTA) clausuraron administrativamente el local y la AGC realizó una intimación por irregularidades en la habilitación. 

Intervino el Juzgado Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional Federal Número 8, a cargo del doctor Marcelo Martínez de Giorgi y ante las Secretarías 15 y 16.
