A raíz de una detección en un pórtico lector de patentes, la División Anillo Digital de la Policía de la Ciudad realizó un seguimiento y detuvo a un hombre y una mujer que circulaban en un auto con pedido de secuestro.
Un pórtico lector de patentes ubicado en la traza de la avenida General Paz, a la altura del barrio de Villa Devoto, detectó el paso de un Fiat Palio color rojo, cuya chapa de dominio arrojó una alerta por pedido de secuestro activo con fecha 17/03/2021, en el marco de una causa por hurto agravado.
De inmediato, el personal de la División Anillo Digital de la Policía de la Ciudad inició el seguimiento del auto en tiempo real a través de las cámaras, y fueron desplazados móviles que lograron interceptarlo en avenida Balbín y Arias, frente al Parque Sarmiento, en el barrio de Saavedra.
Allí, en presencia de testigos, los ocupantes del Palio fueron identificados, tratándose de un hombre de 32 años y una mujer de 21, quienes no poseían documentación que avale la legal tenencia del auto.
Tras consulta, el Juzgado Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional N° 29, a cargo de la Dra. Carina Nancy Rodríguez, dispuso el secuestro del vehículo y la detención de la pareja, quienes fueron trasladados a la Comisaría Vecinal 12 A de la Policía de la Ciudad, imputados por el delito de encubrimiento.
