La Policía de la Ciudad allanó y desarticuló una casa ilegal de apuestas que funcionaba en el interior de una carnicería del barrio de Barracas.
Personal de la División Contravenciones y Faltas Contra el Orden Público, dependiente del Departamento Contravenciones y Faltas de la Policía de la Ciudad, llevó a cabo una inspección en un comercio del barrio de Barracas por juego clandestino, infracción al artículo 301 Bis del Código Penal.
Los efectivos policiales, en conjunto con inspectores de la Agencia Gubernamental de Control (AGC), se trasladaron hacia el comercio ubicado en la calle Agustín Magaldi al 1200, en el que se ofrecían productos de carnicería, pero también se observó sobre la vía pública cartelería de apuestas online.
Al momento de ingresar al local, se comprobó que se estaba desarrollando un torneo de póker en el que participaban unas 20 personas distribuidas en dos mesas de juego, junto a otras 7 que oficiaban de organizadores y público.
Los oficiales de la Policía de la Ciudad se entrevistaron con el encargado, que tenía una gorra con la frase “Bet 91 casino online”, y sobre el mostrador hallaron una máquina ticketeadora conectada a una computadora del plan Sarmiento BA y gran cantidad de tickets de apuestas.
Inmediatamente, se solicitó la colaboración de Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA), y los inspectores constataron la infracción al Código Penal por juego clandestino.
Personal de la AGC clausuró el comercio por falta de habilitación y varias anomalías, como falta de matafuegos, tener cables eléctricos expuestos y faltante de un disyuntor en el tablero eléctrico.
Al consultar con la Unidad Fiscal Sur área de Flagrancia, se dispuso la detención del hombre, de nacionalidad paraguaya de 36 años, con soltura en el lugar, y el secuestro de los elementos encontrados, además de avalar la clausura del local.
