La Policía de la Ciudad allanó en las últimas horas una vivienda en el barrio de Villa Soldati, donde funcionaba un criadero ilegal de aves, y rescató 90 gallinas y 8 gallos.

Personal de la División Delitos Ambientales de la Policía de la Ciudad llevó a cabo un allanamiento en un domicilio de la calle Rivera Indarte al 3200 en Villa Soldati, ordenado por el Ministerio Público Fiscal en el marco de una causa caratulada como “Mantención de animales en lugares inadecuados” en la cual intervino la UFEMA a cargo del doctor Rolero Santurián ante la Secretaría del doctor Bomparola.

Tras meses de trabajo por parte de las autoridades policiales, la División interviniente, coordinada con el CIJ, veterinarios de la Gerencia Operativa de Sanidad de Mascotas y la Dirección General de Control Ambiental con la anuencia del Juzgado Penal Contravencional y de Faltas Número 17 a cargo de la doctora Ohman ante la Secretaría del doctor Lerner, arribaron al domicilio donde, luego de identificar al propietario, procedieron a allanarlo encontrando en la terraza cinco corrales con techo de chapa, cerrados con alambre tipo malla donde permanecían en condiciones de superpoblación y falta de higiene unas 90 gallinas y 8 gallos.

Luego de dar aviso a la Justicia, ésta ordenó la re ubicación de los animales en ONG’s o cualquier entidad gubernamental.

Por su parte, al responsable se lo notificó por infracción a la Ley 14.346 (Ley de Maltrato Animal) mientras que el inmueble fue clausurado en forma total.

Se pudo establecer que los ejemplares eran criados para el consumo de su carne y para peleas clandestinas de gallos.
