Un prostíbulo que funcionaba bajo la fachada de un servicio de masajistas en un departamento de la tradicional avenida de Mayo fue clausurado durante una inspección integral, de la que participaron la Policía de la Ciudad, el Cuerpo de Investigaciones Judiciales (CIJ) del Ministerio Público Fiscal y la Agencia Gubernamental de Control (AGC).
Oficiales de la División Delitos contra la Salud y Seguridad Personal de la Policía de la Ciudad fueron encomendados, junto a personal del CIJ, por la Fiscalía en lo Penal Contravencional y de Faltas 15 a realizar la inspección, que se realizó en un departamento del segundo piso de un edificio de la avenida de Mayo al 700, en el barrio de Monserrat.
La medida comprobó que allí había un prostíbulo simulado mediante la oferta de servicios de masajistas, hallando a dos mujeres que, espontáneamente refirieron que por el uso del departamento abonaban semanalmente 30 mil pesos a un hombre, con el que solo habían hablado telefónicamente, y que el pago lo hacía a través del encargado del edificio del turno mañana.
Las dos mujeres fueron entrevistadas por personal de la Oficina de Rescate del Delito de Trata de Personas de la Ciudad, que concluyó que no surgía en ellas posible delito de trata de personas.
La clausura fue dispuesta por funcionarios de la AGC, ya que el lugar no se hallaba registrado para actividad comercial alguna.
Mientras se llevaba adelante el procedimiento, un hombre de 66 años llegó admitiendo que era cliente habitual, por lo cual los oficiales interventores hicieron la consulta a la Fiscalía de Flagrancia Este, desde la cual sólo se ordenó su identificación.
La Fiscalía a cargo de la causa madre, también había mandado a inspeccionar otro departamento en el mismo edificio, pero se encontraba desocupado.
En concomitancia con la evaluación de los especialistas de la Oficina de Rescate del Delito de Trata de Personas de la Ciudad, la fiscalía interventora, a través de la Dra. Marcela López, no tomó ninguna medida sobre las dos mujeres, en tanto que dispuso notificar al encargado del edificio de la citación a declaración testimonial.
