Las obras del Ramal Lugones, recorridas por Jorge Macri este sábado, representan un hito importante en la lucha contra las inundaciones que beneficiará a alrededor de 110,000 vecinos de Villa Ortúzar y Villa Urquiza. El Jefe de Gobierno destacó la importancia de continuar con estas infraestructuras para mejorar la calidad de vida de los residentes y hacer que los barrios sean más seguros y valiosos.
En su declaración, Jorge Macri hizo hincapié en la necesidad de adaptarse al cambio climático y destacó el compromiso continuo de seguir ejecutando obras necesarias en cada rincón de la ciudad. Estas acciones son fundamentales para enfrentar los desafíos que plantea el cambio climático y para garantizar la resiliencia de la ciudad ante eventos climáticos extremos.
Las obras del Ramal Lugones son complementarias a las del Segundo Emisario del Arroyo Vega y consisten en un conducto principal de hormigón armado de 1.9 kilómetros de longitud. Este conducto atraviesa varias calles importantes de los barrios mencionados y contribuirá significativamente a mejorar el escurrimiento pluvial y reducir el riesgo de inundaciones en la zona.
El ministro de Infraestructura, Pablo Bereciartua, resaltó la importancia de estas obras y señaló que, además del Ramal Lugones, se está avanzando en otro ramal cercano, el Elcano, que también impactará positivamente en más de 100,000 habitantes una vez que esté completado. Estas inversiones en infraestructura hidráulica son vitales para garantizar la seguridad y el bienestar de los ciudadanos ante eventos climáticos adversos.
