Jorge Macri, Jefe de Gobierno, destacó: “Las clases deben empezar sin problemas. En la Ciudad cerramos un acuerdo paritario, que además incluye el dinero que llegaba del Fondo Nacional de Incentivo Docente, que el Gobierno nacional no está girando y cubrimos nosotros. Como el paro está fuera de lo legal, porque ya hay un acuerdo paritario, a quienes adhieran al paro le vamos a descontar la jornada y con eso construimos un fondo que después se reparte a los docentes que no adhieren al paro”.
La Ministra de Educación porteña, Mercedes Miguel, expresó su satisfacción: “Las escuelas de la Ciudad hoy están abiertas para los más de 375 mil chicos y chicas de nivel inicial y primario que inician un nuevo año escolar. Es un día de mucha felicidad para maestros, estudiantes y familias, que se reencuentran en la escuela”.
Además, 22.000 estudiantes de primer año del nivel secundario de gestión estatal comenzaron a cursar el 19 de febrero el Trayecto de Articulación de Primaria a Secundaria. Este curso, que se desarrolla en la misma escuela definida para todo el ciclo lectivo, busca equiparar los puntos de partida de los alumnos y proporcionarles las herramientas necesarias para transitar exitosamente el primer año de la secundaria.
En cuanto a la capacitación docente, más de 29.000 docentes de la Ciudad regresaron a las aulas el pasado 7 de febrero para participar en la Formación Docente Continua Situada, que se lleva a cabo del 8 al 23 de febrero en 54 sedes distribuidas por toda la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Esta capacitación, centrada este año en las áreas de Lengua y Matemática, promueve el intercambio de experiencias y nuevas estrategias para abordar los desafíos en el aula.
La agenda educativa para el presente año es la siguiente:
- 7 de febrero: Los docentes vuelven a las aulas para capacitarse.
- 26 de febrero: Comienzan las clases en la Ciudad para Nivel Inicial y Primario.
- 4 de marzo: Comienzan las clases para estudiantes de Nivel Secundario.
- Del 15 al 26 de julio: Vacaciones de invierno para Inicial, Primaria y Secundaria.
- 20 de diciembre: Finalizan las clases regulares para Inicial, Primaria y Secundaria.
