Las capturas se concretaron por la tarde luego de que personal policial realizara un allanamiento en un local ubicado en Juan Domingo Perón al 1800, con el objetivo de verificar actividades lucrativas en una causa llevada adelante por la Fiscalía Penal, Contravencional y de Faltas N° 17, a cargo del Dr. Walter López.
Los efectivos, junto con personal de la Unidad de Operativa de Fiscalización Integral y la Dirección General de Fiscalización y Control de la Agencia Gubernamental de Control, ingresaron al lugar y encontraron a nueve personas, ocho argentinos y un israelí, jugando al póker.
El magistrado interventor dispuso la detención de los involucrados y la requisa de sus pertenencias, hallando en total la suma de 81 mil pesos, 1200 dólares, cinco teléfonos celulares, fichas de distinto color y valor, cartas, dados y cubiletes.
Asimismo, con relación a la inspección realizada por el personal del Gobierno de la Ciudad, los mismos procedieron a la clausura por falta de habilitación para ejercer la actividad de juegos de azar, falta de matafuegos y plan de evacuación.
