Policía de la Ciudad dio un golpe contra las conexiones ilegales y mediante tareas investigativas y allanamientos pudo desarticular una banda que se dedicaba a la distribución clandestina de TV e internet.
Los procedimientos fueron realizados por la Sección Investigaciones Especiales del Departamento Investigación Informática, con la cooperación del Departamento Prevención del Cibercrimen.
Distribuidora y conexiones ilegales
Esta causa se inició por denuncias de la empresa Telecom-Cablevisión debido a la existencia de irregularidades en las conexiones de internet y telefonía en vecinos que habían solicitado el servicio por medio del portal Mercado Libre, donde además se les daba la posibilidad de que por un pago tengan una garantía del servicio por 18 o 36 meses.
En consecuencia, la Sección Investigaciones Especiales del Departamento Investigación Informática de la Policía de la Ciudad encabezó tareas de campo y localizó con el trabajo en conjunto de otras fuerzas a diferentes domicilios de clientes, gracias a los comprobantes y listados entregados por Mercado Libre, y de las personas que ofrecían estos módems adulterados.
El magistrado actuante recibió la información de los efectivos y dictó las órdenes para los allanamientos, un total de 10 en distintos domicilios de la Ciudad, Provincia de Buenos Aires y Santa Fe.
En uno de los lugares inspeccionados, en la avenida Eva Perón al 6300, en el barrio de Mataderos, los oficiales encontraron teléfono un celular, una notebook, dos amplificadores, tres routers, tres interruptores, 100 pitones, 7 divisores, 200 conectores RG10, 10 conectores RG11, 169 pines de salida, 22 cables de internet, 7 atenuadores de línea, 4 pines de ocho bocas, 600 precintos, 5 cables de red amarillo, 3 cables HDMI, 3 cintas Bulcan, 1 bobina RG6 de 200 metros y 7 módems.
En esta propiedad, uno de los imputados había montado una red de distribución clandestina y le cobraba a 50 vecinos para suministrarle el servicio, tanto de internet como de TV. Además, en Alberti al 1600, en San Cristóbal, se halló un decodificador adulterado.
Las diligencias continuaron en Provincia de Buenos Aires, en las ciudades de San Isidro y Pergamino, y en la Provincia de Santa Fe, en Rosario y Esperanza.
En esas propiedades, se secuestraron un cable de conexión, 7 notebooks, 29 módems adulterados, 3 routers, 4 decodificadores, 8 discos rígidos, 65 metros de cable coaxial y 7 celulares.
En los procedimientos formó parte la Sección Investigaciones Especiales del Departamento Investigación Informática de la Policía de la Ciudad, con la cooperación del Departamento Prevención del Cibercrimen y del Juzgado Nacional en lo Criminal y Correccional Número 19, a cargo del doctor Diego Slupski y ante la Secretaría 159 de la doctora Delfina Wullich, que brindó las órdenes para los allanamientos.
Además, actuaron la Agencia de Investigación Criminal de Rosario, la Agencia de Investigación Criminal de Santa Fe, la DDI de Pergamino y la DDI de San Isidro.
Fueron imputadas un total de siete personas y se calcula que le generaron una pérdida a la empresa Telecom-Cablevisión que ronda los 700.000 pesos.
