El jefe de Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Jorge Macri, anunció una inversión récord de más de $76.000 millones destinada a fortalecer la infraestructura, el equipamiento y los servicios de atención en los hospitales públicos porteños. Se trata del segundo año consecutivo con un aumento significativo en el presupuesto destinado a la salud, con el objetivo de modernizar quirófanos, ampliar guardias, mejorar las unidades de terapia intensiva e incorporar tecnología de última generación.
Un sistema de salud fortalecido
Actualmente, la Ciudad de Buenos Aires cuenta con 35 hospitales públicos y 47 Centros de Salud y Acción Comunitaria (CeSAC), donde se atienden más de 100.000 prestaciones diarias, lo que representa un 20% más que en 2023. Durante la conferencia de prensa realizada en el Hospital Piñero, Jorge Macri destacó el esfuerzo del sistema sanitario porteño en un contexto económico desafiante:
“En un momento difícil, hemos demostrado una gran capacidad de respuesta ante la creciente demanda de pacientes que antes no utilizaban el sistema público. La salud en la Ciudad siempre será pública, de calidad, universal, solidaria y gratuita, con prioridad para los porteños.”
Acompañado por el ministro de Salud, Fernán Quirós, y la vocera institucional, Laura Alonso, el Jefe de Gobierno subrayó que estas inversiones son cambios concretos y no promesas vacías.
Infraestructura y nuevas obras en hospitales y centros de salud
Durante el primer año de gestión, la Ciudad llevó adelante 90 obras en hospitales y centros de salud, con una inversión que superó los $59.000 millones. Para 2024, ese monto aumentará a $76.000 millones, permitiendo la construcción y ampliación de diversas instalaciones.
Entre las obras más destacadas que se encuentran en ejecución y próximas a finalizar, se incluyen:
✅ Nueva guardia y consultorios externos en el Hospital Piñero
✅ Nueva sala de internación en el Hospital Rivadavia para pacientes de Salud Mental
✅ Construcción del CeSAC N°42 en el barrio de Boedo
✅ Ampliación de consultorios en cinco CeSACs (Floresta, Barracas, La Boca, Flores y Villa Urquiza)
✅ Dos nuevos Centros de Especialidades Médicas Ambulatorias (CEMAR) en Recoleta y Villa Urquiza
✅ Dos Centros Integrales de Atención en Villa Devoto y Paternal (La Carbonilla)
Modernización tecnológica: digitalización y equipamiento de última generación
Con el objetivo de optimizar la atención médica y facilitar el acceso a diagnósticos de calidad, se incorporarán dos herramientas tecnológicas clave en los hospitales porteños:
🔹 Sistema RIS (Radiology Information System): permitirá digitalizar la gestión de turnos para estudios de imágenes en todos los hospitales.
🔹 Sistema PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System): agilizará el almacenamiento y administración de imágenes médicas para mejorar los diagnósticos y el acceso de los profesionales de salud a la información del paciente.
A su vez, se prevé una inversión de más de $15.000 millones para la adquisición de equipamiento médico de alta complejidad, incluyendo angiógrafos, tomógrafos y resonadores, lo que permitirá reforzar la capacidad de diagnóstico y tratamiento en la red hospitalaria.
Fila Cero: mejora en el sistema de turnos
Otro de los ejes estratégicos del plan de modernización es la ampliación del sistema Fila Cero, diseñado para agilizar y optimizar la asignación de turnos, evitando largas esperas y mejorando la experiencia de los pacientes en los centros de salud.
Compromiso con la salud pública
El ministro de Salud, Fernán Quirós, resaltó la importancia de que el sistema sanitario se acerque a la comunidad, garantizando una atención accesible, equitativa y de calidad. Además, destacó el trabajo del personal de salud, que permitió la realización de más de 50.000 cirugías programadas en 2024, un 25% más que el año anterior.
Con esta histórica inversión, la Ciudad de Buenos Aires reafirma su compromiso con el fortalecimiento de la salud pública, asegurando que los hospitales y centros de atención cuenten con infraestructura moderna, equipamiento de vanguardia y un servicio de calidad para todos los porteños.
