La División Delitos Contra la Salud y la Seguridad Personal de la policía de la ciudad llevo a cabo una investigación que los termino llevando a un domicilio ubicado en la provincia de Buenos Aires donde tenían diferentes especies de animales en las peores condiciones que luego era comercializados por internet y en ferias de la ciudad y el conurbano.

a
una serie de varias
denuncias
sobre la venta de animales exóticos que se llevaban
a cabo
en los sitios
web
de Facebook y Mercado Libre, la Unidad Fiscal Especializada en
Materia Ambiental tomo
cartas en el asunto y ordenó
mediante un oficio judicial preparar
una investigación para dar
con
el lugar donde se realizaban estas prácticas ilegales.
Por
tal motivo, efectivos de la División Delitos Contra la Salud y la
Seguridad Personal de la Superintendencia de Investigaciones de
la Policía
de la Ciudad realizaron
diferentes estudios
de campo y análisis de direcciones IP que dieron
como resultado la confirmación de
que en una vivienda situada
en la localidad de González Catán almacenaban jaulas con diferentes
especies
de animales
no domésticos que eran vendidos
por la redes sociales y en distintas ferias públicas.
Con
toda la información que
se logro recolectar,
el Juzgado Penal Contravencional y de Faltas Nº 17 a cargo del Dr.
Tavosnaska dispuso llevar
a cabo un
allanamiento en una casa ubicada
en
la calle Barrientos al 6300, que fue realizado
por personal de la Policía
de la Ciudad junto
a integrantes de Flora y Fauna Silvestre de la provincia de Buenos
Aires.
El
procedimiento arrojo
como resultado el secuestro de
cinco
erizos, una pareja de loros Agapornis, cinco
tortugas, ocho
ratones de laboratorio, diez
jerbos (ratones pequeños con cola) y seis
tórtolas anilladas.
El juzgado interventor dispuso que
todos los animales encontrados sean alojados en lugares con
condiciones específicas de hábitat según su especie.
La
dueña de la vivienda,
una mujer de cuarenta
años de edad, fue notificada de la causa por infracción a la Ley de
Protección Animal 14.346, y debera
prestar declaración en la sede judicial.
