La Policía de la Ciudad detuvo en las últimas horas a ocho personas, uno con orden de captura vigente en una causa de abuso sexual, por integrar una banda que se dedicaba a producir, acopiar y comercializar barbijos apócrifos con inscripciones del CONICET.


Este golpe es un desprendimiento de la causa que tuvo semanas atrás la incautación de 50.000 barbijos truchos y cinco detenidos, tras procedimientos realizados en Ciudad y Provincia de Buenos Aires. 

A partir de ese hecho, la Unidad Fiscal Especializada en Materia Ambiental, a cargo del doctor Carlos Rolero Santurián, continuó la investigación con la intervención de la División Delitos Informáticos Complejos de la Policía de la Ciudad y se aprobaron cinco allanamientos en talleres y propiedades de Flores y Parque Avellaneda ordenados por el Juzgado Penal, Contravencional y de Faltas Número 19, a cargo del  doctor Carlos Aostri.

Participaron también de los procedimientos, el Cuerpo de Investigaciones Judiciales (CIJ), la Agencia Gubernamental de Control (AGC), la Dirección General de Protección del Trabajo y la Dirección General de Migraciones del Ministerio del Interior de la Nación.

Los oficiales hallaron, en los cuatro talleres textiles y en una vivienda particular de los barrios de Flores y Parque Avellaneda, una gran cantidad de barbijos con las inscripciones de Atom Protect, KN95, 3M, ION-Positivo y Protective Mask, y además encontraron 14 rollos de telas de color, máquinas de coser y estampado, impresoras y computadoras.

Los talleres no estaban habilitados y tampoco contaban con las mínimas medidas de seguridad y protección. 

Además, fueron detenidas ocho personas por los delitos de estafa, fraude a la administración, violación de las medidas impuestas por las autoridades competentes para impedir la propagación de una enfermedad y encubrimiento. 

Se comprobó luego que una de las personas detenidas tenía un pedido de captura vigente en una causa de abuso sexual desde 2019 y todos fueron puestos a disposición de la Justicia.
