En el centro de Tel Aviv, el mismo día en que manifestantes pacíficos se congregaron para solicitar un alto el fuego frente a la ofensiva militar israelí en la Franja de Gaza, líderes y activistas de diversas organizaciones sociales, políticas y culturales en Buenos Aires realizaron una concentración para pedir el fin del “genocidio de las niñeces y del pueblo palestino”.
En la emblemática Plaza de Mayo, las organizaciones convocantes expresaron a través de un comunicado, leído en un escenario frente al Cabildo, su rechazo al “genocidio de las niñeces y del pueblo palestino”, exigiendo detener los bombardeos, poner fin a la invasión y al bloqueo en Gaza, y expresando solidaridad con el pueblo palestino.
La concentración tuvo lugar el sábado a partir de las 16 horas, contando con la presencia de figuras destacadas como Nora Cortiñas de la Asociación de Madres Plaza de Mayo, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel del Servicio de Paz y Justicia (Serpaj), Alejandro Hassan del Centro Islámico de la República Argentina, Moira Millán del Movimiento de Mujeres y Diversidades Indígenas por el Buen Vivir, Francisco “Paco” Oliveira de Curas en opción por los pobres, Vilma Ripoll del Movimiento Socialista de los Trabajadores (MST), Andrea D’atri y Vanina Biasi por el Frente de Izquierda Unidad (FITU).
Además, se hicieron presentes representantes del Comité Argentino de Solidaridad con el Pueblo Palestino, del Encuentro Memoria, Verdad y Justicia (Emvyj), de la Asamblea Permanente de los Derechos Humanos APDH, de la Liga Argentina por los Derechos Humanos LADH, de la CTA y de la CTA-Autónoma, junto con referentes de los movimientos sociales.
Tilda Rabi, presidenta de la Federación de Entidades Argentino-Palestinas, integrante del Comité Argentino de Solidaridad con el Pueblo Palestino, destacó su mensaje de solidaridad y resistencia hacia los palestinos, recordando que la causa es fundamentalmente humana.
Martín Saade, prosecretario del Centro Islámico de la República Argentina (Cira), subrayó la necesidad de visibilizar la solidaridad argentina con el pueblo palestino y expresó su repudio al genocidio y la masacre de civiles en la región.
Tamara Lalli, periodista e integrante de la Federación de Entidades Argentino-Palestinas, lamentó la falta de reacciones internacionales frente a la tragedia, describiéndola como una “muerte televisada” ante la cual la comunidad internacional ha permanecido pasiva.
El Colectivo feminista Ni Una Menos hizo un llamado a las mujeres feministas y disidencias a movilizarse activamente por Palestina el próximo 25 de noviembre, Día Internacional de la Eliminación de la Violencia Machista, uniéndose a la Acción Feminista Global por Palestina.
