La Ciudad de Buenos Aires pide, ante la cercanía de las fiestas de Navidad y Año Nuevo, impedir el uso de pirotecnia por los riesgos de incidentes que sufren los vecinos.
Los efectos cálidos y movientes de los fuegos artificiales pueden producir incendios, quemaduras y cortes o amputaciones, creando secuelas psicológicas y físicas y, a veces, puede poner en riesgo la vida del vecino.
Consejos:
- La pirotecnia autorizada, en caso de usarla, debe tener la leyenda “Autorizado por el ANMaC (ex RENAR)” y la inscripción del número de registro que corresponde y datos del fabricante o importador del artefacto.
- Debe manejarse en lugares abiertos, lejos de edificios, y no guardarla en los bolsillos ni arrojarla contra muros, cajas de luz o de gas.
- Debe mantenerse en el piso, nunca en las manos ni dentro de botellas o latas.
- Cuando un producto no explota, no debe tocarse aunque la mecha parezca apagada. Hay que apagarlo con abundante agua y mantenerse lejos.
- No dejar los artículos al sol o próximo a fuentes de calor.
- No manejar fuegos artificiales si ha bebido alcohol.
- Las chispas pueden prender fuego las ropas y además causar heridas graves en los ojos.
- Si un petardo tiene mecha corta, es muy peligrosa, porque no da tiempo a encenderla y alejarse.
- Las lesiones en general son relativamente leves, pero también producen traumatismos severos.
- No se deben arrojar aerosoles al fuego.
En relación al momento de abrir las bebidas se aconseja:
- Cubrir el corcho con un paño o tolla al quitar la traba de seguridad y al destapar la bebida.
- Evitar agitar las bebidas espumantes en el momento de destaparlas.
- No mirar directamente la botella cuando se destapa, ni apuntarlas a otras personas.
- Recordar que sacar corchos inadecuadamente puede producir ceguera.
Con respecto a la pirotecnia y los animales de compañía:
- Aislar lo más posible a los animales de compañía a los efectos de, dada su gran sensibilidad auditiva, evitarles un estado de descontrol que provoque que los mismos intenten escapar del lugar.
- Aislarlos en un lugar fresco (por ejemplo, un sótano) y en lo posible colocarle tapones en los oídos.
- Evitar el uso de tranquilizantes no indicados por un profesional Médico Veterinario, dado que algunos pueden producir un efecto inverso al deseado.
El alcohol y la conducción de vehículos:
Tomar alcohol y manejar aumenta el riesgo de accidentes: Está comprobado que el consumo de bebidas alcohólicas perturba el sentido del equilibrio y el cálculo de las distancias, disminuye el campo visual, además de aumentar la fatiga y el sueño.
El alcohol es una sustancia psicoactiva y un depresor del sistema nervioso central. Los efectos y riesgos dependen de qué, cuándo y con qué frecuencia se toma, las mezclas de bebidas realizadas y las características particulares de la persona que lo consume.
El alcohol produce dependencia física y psíquica y su consumo habitual en el tiempo puede provocar daños en hígado, páncreas, estómago, corazón y cerebro.
No sacar la basura:
El 24 y el 31 no habrá recolección de residuos húmedos y la Ciudad le pide a los vecinos que no saquen la basura para evitar que se acumule en los contenedores. Mientras que el 24, el 25, 31 y 1° no habrá recolección de reciclables. La idea es guardarlos limpios y secos en tu casa, para que cuando se restablezca el servicio puedas llevarlo a tu Punto Verde o Contenedor Verde más cercano o entregárselo en mano a un Recuperador Urbano.
Recomendaciones para el buen uso de un contenedor:
- Estacionar el auto a un metro del contenedor, dejando esa distancia por delante y por detrás. De esta forma se facilita la operación del camión recolector y se evitan daños.
- Respetar el lugar del contenedor. Los contenedores se ubican cumpliendo un conjunto de condiciones como la presencia de entradas de garaje, espacio para el transporte público, espacios reservados para discapacitados, desagües pluviales, luminarias, arbolado, etc. En caso extremo de necesitar mover el contenedor, solicitarlo al 147.
- No arrojar residuos áridos como cascotes, metales, maderas, restos de poda, etc. Los contenedores no son aptos para estos residuos y pueden dañan el equipo recolector. Para desechar estos residuos comunicarse al 147 para coordinar el restiro de los materiales.
- No trabar las tapas. Luego de depositar los residuos tapar el contenedor, así se evita el mal olor, se protege de la entrada de agua en caso de lluvia, o el ingreso de animales como gatos o aves.
- No sacar la basura cuando llueve. Ante la lluvia es posible que se tapen los sumideros y no se escurra el agua en forma correcta.
- Poner la basura dentro del contenedor. El camión recolector utiliza un sistema automatizado por lo que recoge solo lo que está dentro del contendor.
