La Policía de la Ciudad detuvo en las últimas horas a dos mujeres por ser las encargadas de un taller mecánico del barrio de Nueva Pompeya, donde se encontró un auto con pedido de secuestro por robo y repuestos ilegales.
El operativo realizado en la calle Pepirí al 1500 fue realizado en conjunto por personal de la Comisaría Vecinal 4 B de la Policía de la Ciudad, inspectores de la Agencia Gubernamental de Control (AGC), el Organismo contra la Prevención y Sustracción de Autopartes, y la Dirección General de Coordinación Operativa del Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad, tras recibir una orden de allanamiento del Juzgado de instrucción Número 53, a cargo del doctor Litvack y ante la Secretaría 66 de la doctora Basavilbaso.
Los oficiales se acercaron al taller de la mencionada dirección y en la recorrida por su interior observaron automóviles estacionados y uno de ellos tenía un pedido de secuestro por robo, solicitado por la Fiscalía Criminal y Correccional Número 23, Secretaría 1, de diciembre de 2018.
Además se hallaron autopartes ilegales en la caja de una camioneta.
Por tal motivo, se hizo la consulta en la Fiscalía Contravencional y de Faltas Número 34, a cargo de la doctora Bellavigna y ante la Secretaría del doctor Otamendi, que dispuso la detención por encubrimiento de las dos encargadas del taller, de 27 y 51 años, y la notificación de los dos mecánicos que trabajaban, de nacionalidad paraguaya y de 39 y 49 años.
El magistrado actuante resolvió además secuestrar el rodado en cuestión, un Toyota Corolla, dos cajas de transmisión, tres bloques de motor, puertas, paragolpes y capots, y la clausura del taller por parte de la AGC.
