El paro general convocado por la Confederación General de Trabajadores (CGT) se enmarca en el rechazo al acuerdo con el Fondo Monetario Internacional, el aumento de tarifas y la falta de aumentos salariales. El tercer paro organizado durante la gestión de Mauricio Macri llegó casi un mes después del anuncio del acuerdo con el FMI y el veto a la ley que limitaba el tarifazo, mientras las paritarias de los principales gremios continúan ancladas por debajo de la inflación.
Desde las 0 horas del día de hoy se lleva a cabo el tercer paro general contra el gobierno de Mauricio Macri, que logró una mayor adhesión que los anteriores. Convocado originalmente por la CGT, consiguió adhesiones de las dos CTA, la Corriente Federal, el MASA, la UTA, UPCN y ATE, afectando la totalidad del funcionamiento del transporte público, el tráfico aéreo, las dependencias públicas, camioneros, bancarios y docentes. A los paros gremiales se suma también el apoyo de las pequeñas y medianas empresas, quienes convocan a un “persianazo” para mostrar su descontento frente a las políticas económicas del gobierno de Mauricio Macri. Convocado originalmente por la CGT, consiguió adhesiones de las dos CTA, la Corriente Federal, el MASA, la UTA, UPCN y ATE, afectando la totalidad del funcionamiento del transporte público, el tráfico aéreo, las dependencias públicas, camioneros, bancarios y docentes.
La profundización del ajuste ocurrido en los últimos meses llevó a la unión de los distintos sectores, junto a los movimientos sociales, a manifestarse en contra del acuerdo con el FMI, la flexibilización laboral, los despidos, aumentos de tarifas y el veto presidencial a la ley que los limitaba presentada por la oposición. Sin embargo, el paro llegó atrasado con respecto a todos los avances sobre los trabajadores que se llevaron a cabo en los últimos meses.
La luz de alerta para la convocatoria al paro pareció ser el acuerdo del préstamo con el FMI y los ajustes que limitarán la continuidad de la obra pública (fuente de empleo para la construcción) y el empleo estatal.
Casi un mes después del veto a la ley de tarifas y el anuncio del cierre de negociaciones con el FMI, dos meses después de que el gobierno nacional envíe al Congreso el proyecto de a reforma laboral, mientras la gran mayoría de trabajadores mantiene una paritaria del 15% con una inflación que se calcula del 30% para el 2018, los reclamos de los gremialistas que se sientan a negociar en la mesa del gobierno parecen haber llegado tarde a la sensación de las calles.
