Durante la madrugada del sábado, en la intersección de Agrelo y Sánchez de Loria, en el barrio de Boedo, se desató un incendio y posterior explosión de una camioneta Renault Trafic.
El fuego afectó a otra Trafic similar estacionada delante de la que explotó, y la onda expansiva resultó en la rotura de los vidrios de edificaciones cercanas. Los bomberos trabajaron hasta las cuatro de la mañana para controlar las llamas. En medio de las labores, el tanque de GNC de la camioneta estalló, dejándola totalmente destruida.
Afortunadamente, no se reportaron heridos como consecuencia del incidente. Un residente local describió el estruendo como impactante, y el encargado de un edificio cercano comentó: “Estaba durmiendo, escuché un ruido de explosión tremenda, parecía una bomba”.
