Luego de una persecución, la Policía de la Ciudad logró detener a un ladrón que había robado en una casa de una mujer mayor en el barrio de Caballito.
Un oficial de la Comisaría Vecinal 6 A de la Policía de la Ciudad recorría preventivamente el barrio en horas de la noche cuando en Morelos al 500 vio cómo un hombre saltaba una reja desde el interior de una vivienda hacia la vía pública, por lo cual impartió la voz de alto, pero el sospechoso hizo caso omiso y emprendió la fuga a la carrera, iniciándose una persecución durante la cual el fugitivo descartó una mochila, y fue finalmente atrapado en la esquina de Seguí y Aranguren.
Luego de las averiguaciones, los policías confirmaron que el delincuente había ingresado al domicilio saltando la reja de entrada y, luego de revolver varios cajones de uno de los cuartos, sustrajo pertenencias y objetos de valor que guardó en una mochila, siendo sorprendido por una mujer mayor que vive en el lugar cuando se disponía a huir.
Al detenido, de nacionalidad uruguaya, se le secuestró una mochila negra que tenía en su interior una notebook, alhajas de oro y plata, y elementos de librería.
El Juzgado Criminal Nacional y Correccional 42, a cargo de la Dra. María Gabriela Lanz, secretaría 10 del Dr. Juan Pablo Carovano, ordenó el traslado del delincuente hasta la alcaidía de la Comisaría Comunal 6 de la Policía de la Ciudad, imputado por tentativa de robo con trámite de flagrancia.
