Con estos nuevos procedimientos, llevados adelante por la visión Contravenciones y Faltas contra el Orden Público de la Policía de la Ciudad, junto al Cuerpo de Investigaciones Judiciales del Ministerio Público Fiscal, la Agencia Gubernamental de Control (AGC) y la Agencia de Protección Ambiental (APRA) del Gobierno porteño,  son más de 1.500 los matafuegos incautados y sacados del circuito, ya que no están aptos para cuando se los requiere en emergencia.

Los seis operativos fueron ordenados por la Unidad Fiscal Especializada en Materia Ambiental (UFEMA), por falsificación de stickers que llevan los matafuegos.

Tras las inspecciones fueron clausurados cuatro locales por orden judicial, en Corvalán al 1700, en Mataderos, en Cátulo Castillo al 2500 de Parque Patricios, en Francisco Bilbao al 3000, en Flores, y en Castillo al 100 en Villa Crespo, en tanto que otro sobre la calle Corvalán tuvo clausura por  APRA. También hubo una inspección en otro negocio de Rivadavia al 8000, en Floresta.

Durante los operativos en cuatro locales fueron incautados 73 matafuegos con etiquetas adulteradas y en cinco comercios sumaron 859 matafuegos con recargas presuntamente apócrifas, todo por un valor de unos 11 millones de pesos.

Los dos negocios sobre Corvalán serían recargadoras sin habilitación para esa actividad.

En consulta con la UFEMA, el secretario Ricardo Bomparola dispuso, además de los secuestros, imputar a los propietarios de cuatro de los locales por infracción a los artículos 292 y 296 del Código Penal de la Nación, por falsificación de documento,  clausurar los comercios y labrar acta contravencional por infracción al artículo 85 sobre Ejercicio Ilegítimo de una actividad a cinco de los propietarios.

También ordenó el secuestro de la maquinaria de recarga con entrega como depositario judicial al titular.

Que la AGC labró actas de intimación por faltas de seguridad a cuatro locales y APRA clausuró los dos locales sobre Corvalán, en Mataderos por no exhibir certificado de residuos.

Estos nuevos procedimientos tuvieron su origen en una investigación de cinco meses de la División Contravenciones y Faltas contra el Orden Público que vio la luz a fines de julio en un operativo en una casa de venta de matafuegos en Condarco al 300, Flores.

Allí los oficiales detectaron los distintos formatos para fraguar los matafuegos, obviar cargas, falsificar stickers y marbetes, los anillos plásticos de distintos colores para certificar que esa carga está vigente.

Aquella vez, la pesquisa derivó en un allanamiento librado por el  Juzgado Penal, Contravencional y de Faltas Nro. 11, para secuestrar elementos probatorios.

Allí se determinó que  en el lugar se falsificaban stickers de la AGC que se colocan en los matafuegos, también comprobaron que se entregaban extintores sin realizarle la recarga. Los oficiales detectaron que varios de esos matafuegos iban a escuelas.

La continuidad de las investigaciones llevó semanas atrás a otro operativo en la avenida San Juan al 1400, donde se incautaron otros 599 matafuegos con stickers apócrifos.
