Un arsenal con un centenar de armas de guerra y seis granadas fue descubierto por Bomberos de la Ciudad cuando fueron a apagar un incendio en un departamento en un edificio en Palermo.
Cuando los Bomberos cumplían con el procedimiento para extinguir el fuego gestado en un piso 16 de Salguero al 2200, por un desperfecto eléctrico se encontraron con gran cantidad de armas, por lo cual dieron aviso a la Comisaría Vecinal 14 A y al Escuadrón Antibombas de la Policía de la Ciudad.
Intervino la Unidad de Flagrancia Norte, a cargo del Dr. Norberto Brotto, y el auxiliar fiscal Matías Vila ordenó que la pesquisa esté a cargo del Departamento de Lucha contra el Crimen Organizado y con la participación de la División Investigaciones de Armas de Fuego y Explosivos de la Policía de la Ciudad.
Hubo una evacuación del edificio y perimetral, para el trabajo del Escuadrón Antibombas.
El comisario Matías García, de la división policial interventora, dijo que “hay más de 90 armas, algunas de uso prohibido como un bastón que dispara cartuchos de escopeta, tres silenciadores, y de las seis granadas hay dos de fabricación irregular, específicamente una que tiene la leyenda ‘Montoneros’ y otra ‘Fabrica Sabino Navarro’, que aparentemente estaban activas en ese momento, pero fueron inactivadas por el Escuadrón Antibombas”.
En un primer recuento de armas García dijo que se contabilizaban “54 armas de puño y 21 fusiles, además del bastón dispara cartuchos, pero hay más, además de las 6 granadas, además de vainas, fulminantes, puntas, máquina para fabricar municiones, de varios calibres, desde 22 a 45 y no descartaba que hay 762 como las que utilizan los FAL”.
Las tareas continuaban ya que faltaban abrir cajas fuertes, que, ante la posible presencia de material explosivo en su interior, se estaban tomando las prevenciones y medidas necesarias con personal especializado para poder proceder a la apertura.
Por su parte, el jefe de la División Desactivación de Explosivos, subcomisario Martín Ledesma, explicó que “las dos granadas de mano de fabricación irregular, por características estarían en óptimas condiciones de uso y conservación, aunque para confirmarlo se están haciendo las pericias, y las otras cuatro de fusil se verificó que no poseían carga, es decir, inertes”.
El propietario del departamento no se hallaba en la casa y que en su lugar había una representante legal de dueño, quien quedó en investigación
La Fiscalía investiga el presunto delito de acopio de armas y tenencia ilegal de armas de guerra.
“Queda investigar el origen de estas armas, que quedaron secuestradas”, a disposición de la magistratura, señaló el comisario.
El departamento quedó con consigna por parte de personal de la Comisaría Vecinal 14 A..
