La Policía de la Ciudad, con el aporte del seguimiento de las cámaras del Centro de Monitoreo Urbano (CMU), detuvo en Vicente López a dos motochorros, a los que persiguió desde el barrio de Belgrano.
El hecho ocurrió en las últimas horas cuando personal de la Comisaría Vecinal 13 A de la Policía de la Ciudad fue alertado sobre el robo de un celular, por parte de motochorros a un transeúnte en Belgrano.
Inmediatamente se activaron los protocolos de urgencia y comenzó un operativo rastrillaje en la zona con las cámaras del Centro de Monitoreo Urbano y efectivos de la División Servicios Móviles de Prevención del Departamento Motorizado de la Policía de la Ciudad que lograron identificar a los sospechosos en la intersección de la avenida Monroe y Arcos.
Ante esa situación, los efectivos le dieron la voz de alto, pero al notar la presencia policial, el conductor de la motocicleta intentó darse a la fuga rápidamente tomando la avenida Cabildo por el carril exclusivo de transporte público del Metrobus, en sentido a la avenida General Paz.
Ya en jurisdicción de la provincia de Buenos Aires, en la avenida Maipú e Hipólito Yrigoyen, en Vicente López, los delincuentes en fuga colisionaron contra un colectivo de la línea 161, quedando tendidos ambos ladrones en el asfalto y provocando la caída del efectivo de la Policía de la Ciudad.
Rápidamente arribó personal del SAME de Vicente López al lugar que atendió a los lesionados ordenando el traslado de los delincuentes y el personal policial con diagnóstico de politraumatismos.
Por su parte realizada una requisa de las pertenencias de los imputados, se encontró dentro da una mochila tres teléfonos celulares, correspondiendo, uno de ellos marca Iphone, al damnificado que realizó la denuncia en la comisaría Vecinal 13 A.
El Juzgado interviniente dispuso implantar consigna policial sobre los delincuentes quedando imputados por robo, resistencia y atentado contra la autoridad.
